gotta love coffee

hoping you all had an wonderful christmas. today it literally felt like boxing day part two…i spent the morning having capuccinos with friends over at lemon 2go coffee.

i’m sure that if you’re on island you’ve had, or at least heard of, sam’s capuccinos. not only you get super creative coffee art in your latte or cappuccino, but they are the best on island too.

the most original one is definitely the provo snorkeler – how cool is that? and my favorite is the christmas tree – it beats any starbucks-pumpkin-caramel-chrismassy drink!

check out my instagram for a few more!

lemon 2 go coffee is located on grace bay road, in front of salt mills, call them on 1 (649) 941-4487 or check their facebook page.

lemon 2go coffee / providenciales

i have a new addiction in provo – and it’s the cappuccino from lemon2go coffee.

i know you would think that living by the beach and in the heat of turks and caicos i would be addicted to rum punch or margaritas.

i seriously have to stop myself from stopping by for a cappuccino every day – the quality of the coffee is amazing (forty ninth parallel) and the cappuccino is perfectly prepared every-single-time.

they have other coffee options, like iced lattes and frapuccinos – check their facebook page for their daily inspiration.

the setting is gorgeous, they have, not only, the best cappuccino on island, but they also sell the most beautiful flowers. i love every time i come in, the shop is packed with flowers, candles and soaps, amongst other temptations – i want to buy them all!it’s my definitely my favorite coffee spot and oh so miss it when i’m off island!the shop is located on grace bay road, in front of salt mills, call them on 1 (649) 941-4487 or check their Facebook page and their website.

thanks to simone for graciously posing for the pictures :)

more foodie spots on island here

craving these…

i am so craving these right now!

my all time fish tacos favourite on island are the ones from somewhere, but the ones i had at parrot cay are to die for. yes, i would go all the way to the next door island just for them! i tell you, they are so worth it…

lobster season

lobster season is over, as of tonight, so no more lobster on restaurant menus, or being cooked anywhere on island. we’re not even allowed to import lobster from somewhere else to make sure the only lobster around here are all under water!

this is a great initiative from the decr, in order to allow lobster enough time to reproduce.

and because i know it’ll be a while until lobster season starts again (august or september), i’ve been getting my lobster fix during the last couple of weeks – lobster linguini from caicos cafe (how will i survive without it for so long…), lobster sandwich from fresh bakery, lobster pot pie from anacaona, and lots of lobster grilling’ at home from provo seafood.

infinity

since my mum and sister are on island, we are a bit more active than usual – last week we took them to grace bay club for drinks. (remember THIS picture on instagram?) their infinity bar is definitely the coolest bar on island, and one of my favorite spots too.

the lounge area is also pretty neat – those lanterns, at night, give an awesome effect (would love to have a few in my terrace!) and there’s a fireplace, in case you get the chills!

we went at sunset, had a couple of cocktails and snacked on some conch. we were so tired, it was the perfect early night out after a day in the sun.
