our day

we’re back, and i can’t believe how fast it was all – one month of fast track preparations; arrival of guests from chile, brazil, california and abu dhabi; the wedding weekend flew; and our honeymoon in italy is already over. it really was the happiest day of my life!

i had never dreamt of getting married, or better, i had never dreamt of my wedding day. bridal magazines never inspired me. and somehow everything turned out as i have always wanted. i would love to share this picture of our day with you, and can’t wait to share a few more in the weeks to come.

i am now enjoying a couple of weeks back in lisbon, before i head back home to my paradise island in turks and caicos.

oh my, this was a busy weekend. we had a really nice dinner with friends – HERE – we all love this place and agreed we wouldn’t survive on island without it! it was funny because we realized half of us on our table were portuguese :) it is nice to feel a little closer to home.

then, on saturday, i went to lemon’s summer party, and i tell you, they really know how to through a party, everyone was there and it was lot’s of fun. if you’re on island visiting, make sure you check out lemon’s facebook page for any parties.

i’m now on my final countdown for my vacation, i leave in a week, so i’m working hard on the exercising and tanning – and online shopping too!

this weekend we had dinner at krave, a restaurant at grace bay club, by the estates, i had yet not tried. the setting is awesome, quiet and a bit more relaxed that their high end restaurant anacaona (and i still can’t believe i was able to resist this!).

we also watched the film che, it has two parts. it’s been a month since we’re back from havana, so we found it really interesting to learn more on cuban history.

i hope you had a great weekend – i can’t believe we’re already in july and half of the year has gone through!

we had an awesome one, trying to enjoy the island whilst we plan our vacation in portugal for september. on saturday we spent a great day at the crab fest in middle caicos – will share some pictures with you later this week. also, we had a look at a new boutique hotel that just opened in provo (beach house) it’s near home and the restaurant menus look promising, so we look forward to trying it.
