happy kitchen / london

for the first time in london, i stayed in east, so it felt like visiting a new city, i loved exploring all the little spots and so many creative coffee shops like happy kitchen. it was just around the corner from where we were staying, so i stopped by for my daily caffeine fix, and bought lots of organic dry fruits to snack whilst shopping and sightseeing.

his dive story…

Sometimes i wonder if the sharks recognized individual divers but this is wishful thinking!  I am sure i know this one as i have made this particular dive plenty of times….. will it take a swipe at me??? or just try to sniff me out!  Well, the camera didn’t shake much so I guess i am feeling pretty confident of myself….

Go see my previous dive posts, you can see them right here!

James

lisboa for a week

i’ve had a super busy week, catching up with friends, visiting newborn babies and spending time at home. i am loving every single minute and almost feel as i never left. i couldn’t believe it’s been 10 months since i moved…didn’t think i would survive so long with out my family, my friends and my city, lisboa.

today we started our christmas celebrations, we had a huge family lunch, it was about a hundred of us, my grandfather’s brothers and sisters and every son and daughter, children and grandchildren! we started at noon with mass and finished lunch at 5 in the afternoon; trying a dessert from each family group. there are about 10 different chocolate mousses and we always compete as to which one is most successful (my grandma’s, of course, it has crushed hazelnut…so yumm!).

james is arriving tomorrow, my partner in crime – i can’t wait to go to all our favourite spots this week!

oh, and i have a super cool (and so different) haircut that i can’t wait to share…!

we took this pictures last week in cambridge with a fab group of gals!

oh, and i do miss this weather a little…

a great spot in cambridge

when in london last week, rita and i took the train and spent the day in cambridge – it was the perfect day out, 1 hour away and we were in the country side, visiting friends, surrounded by nature and beautiful colleges that easily encourage studying and remind you of harry potter.

before heading back to london we had the best tea and scones..with clotted dream! we loved this spot, bill’s, it made us want to hang out for hours chatting, eating and drinking.

it was like a mini vacation during our vacation…don’t you love daytrips?

i still have a few things to share from our short trip to london – and a guest post about it coming soon!
