caicos cafe

last night we went over to caicos cafe for dinner, it’s my number one restaurant in provo – i love having a glass of chianti and dinning on their outside seating area, their friendly staff and knowing that i will have a great meal every time i go.

we shared the sea scallops with almond herb and pancetta crust for starter, trust me, this is a must – and the lobster with linguini is a favourite too (sorry, no picture). we don’t usually have dessert but tried the almond mille feuille, light and just perfect!

i can’t wait to go back!

happy, happy weekend

it’s good to be back home, after traveling for two weeks.

it’s nice to be back to my shorts and flip flops and looking at this amazing sea every day. it’s been raining on and off, half an hour this morning and another half an hour yesterday afternoon, but in between the weather is great for the beach…so that’s what we’re doing this weekend. Ah, and we’re planning to get some fresh lobster to bbq!

lobster seasons starts today

all lobsters out there in the tci clear waters, watch out!

tonight we will eat the first lobsters, after 5 months of non-lobster season – since march 31st it’s been illegal to catch lobsters or even import or keep them frozen.

many restaurants and hotels are getting prepared to close for the month of september, hurricane and low season, and when reopening in october lobsters will be back on the menus!

enjoy your lobster meals!
