tapas at the f lounge

having already been there for drinks a few times, i had to try the f lounge for lunch. it is perfect for a quiet and relaxed lunch, situated at the turtle cove marina, and with a delicious tapas menu. my favourite were the spaghetti with lobster and squid ink, the cheese croquettes (both pictured above), the goat cheese spring rolls, the baby octopus and the chicken canneloni.

i’ll gladly come back for lunch with friends or an early tapas dinner – how i love my neighbourhood!

caicos cafe

last night we went over to caicos cafe for dinner, it’s my number one restaurant in provo – i love having a glass of chianti and dinning on their outside seating area, their friendly staff and knowing that i will have a great meal every time i go.

we shared the sea scallops with almond herb and pancetta crust for starter, trust me, this is a must – and the lobster with linguini is a favourite too (sorry, no picture). we don’t usually have dessert but tried the almond mille feuille, light and just perfect!

i can’t wait to go back!

garam masala

last night we went to garam masala for dinner, it’s one of my favourite places. i’ve always loved indian food… was so happy when they opened last year.

we had vegetable samosas – they remind me of home; murg kadhai (ok, maybe a little too spicy for me…), murg korma and lots of garlic naan – so delicious! another favourite is the seekh kebab (not pictured); minced lamb meat cooked in a tandoor.

for reservations call +1 646.344.4622 OR +1 649.941.3292, they are open for lunch and dinner, closed on tuesdays.

fish sliders at the gansevoort

last week we went to the gansevoort for lunch, for a little celebration. we had the most delicious fish sliders, to die for, they came with a fennel and grapefruit salad – so fresh and perfect for a beach day in provo!

have i already mentioned how much i love fish!?
