blogging-in-the-caribbean-by-myseastoryi can hardly believe i’ve been blogging since 2011, with a few bumps on the way, it’s definitely been an interesting journey. i started posting with the purpose of sharing a little bit of my island life with friends and family back home. i realized i liked this blogging thing, so i went to ny for a blog workshop, blogshop, with my favorite blogger and photographer. i was really enjoying it, journaling my life and getting to know an amazing community of bloggers out there, and to be honest, the number of readers did keep me going too. when i went home to portugal this summer, i got asked a lot of questions about my life with julia here on island. she was very clingy during our first days in portugal and my friends and family just assumed it was because she wasn’t used to socializing with a lot of people – you must be home with her all day – they said. little did they know… to help me with the baby blues, i was out all the time, so julia got used to coming with me for coffee with friends, baby groups and mid week lunches with james.

myseastoryhappy new year friends – i know this hasn’t been a very good blogging one… 2013 has given us a lot of happiness, challenges and fun adventures. we can’t wait for the year to come, sharing our life in provo with our baby girl and hopefully having lots of family and friends visiting us too!

myseastoryhere’s a little update of my bump from our last days in provo. i have only one month to go – still can’t believe how fast my pregnancy has gone! i am so excited to share these last weeks with my family and portuguese friends, and hope james makes it on time for the delivery in the end of january :)
