his dive story…

This is one my fav dive sites at West Caicos.  The Gully it is called.   the water is amazingly warm at 27c and you have to pinch yourself to make sure that the clarity of the water is REAL!   My first dive in Turks & Caicos was here back in January 2011. It is on an amazing white sandy bed slowly sloping down into the Wall otherwise known as the reef drop off which goes into the deep sea….  this shark had been circling around us and when he got onto the white sandy part, i knew i had to film it.

in love with these pictures by christian chaize.

a french photographer, he has a thing for this beach in the south of portugal, and has been taking pictures of the same location at different times of the day, throughout the years – the result is quite amazing!

i dream of buying one myself…

pinning countries

whilst i plan and dream about our vacations for 2012, i fall in love with this map for my wall – it comes with 202 pins, plus two different coloured ones to mark home and the next trip.

a few months back, my brother got my parents, my sister and i all competitive about how many countries had each one been to in our lives – how many pins would you be using in the map?

Hello My Sea Story! I’m Erica from It’s An Occasion. It was rad meeting Joana at Blogshop back in September and I’m stoked to be guest blogging on her site.

My sister/business partner recently went to Kauai to get away from this wintery cold weather in New Jersey. She fell in love with everything about the island. She gave me her top 5 things to do if you make your way to Kauai. Enjoy!
