somewhere / providenciales

until you’ve been (to) somewhere.

sometimes i have to remind myself to take full advantage of the island life. so yesterday i suggested we go (to) somewhere  after work. it’s one of my favourite spots, very casual, great view, i love that they have their daily ice tea specials and usually i go for their fish tacos – so yum!

i know, i know, you must think all we eat around here is mexican…i promise to post some pictures of local food soon!

tcspca

i definitely won’t miss the tcspca annual dog show, in just 5 days – my dear friend Ingrid is a volunteer and they sure do a great job rescuing animals throughout the island.

after a busy, busy day, james and I finished off with a quick visit to the beach – oh boy does it feel refreshing!

lot’s of relaxing, sunbathing and swimming this weekend!

also, hoping i can make it to the fresh farmer’s market tomorrow morning and to islandcom battle of the bands anniversay celebration in the turtle cove marina in the afternoon!

have a relaxing weekend!

from minho to provo

i was beyond excited when i saw vinho verde on the wine isle at the supermarket here in provo – it made me so happy to have a little bit of portugal just around the corner, and so far away from home!

vinho verde is a young wine from the region of minho, where my mum’s family is from, we drink it at every meal whenever we go to the north of portugal – yes we all get a little buzzed!

if you are in provo and would like to try, praia from IGA supermarket is delicious, its so light and fresh and goes perfect with our fish and seafood!
