i was utterly excited to find a starfish by the seaside this weekend, the first time i’ve actually held a starfish in my hand, it is so perfect, and funny how you feel all the little feet moving underneath.
did you know they have super cool regenerating powers? you can cut a starfish in half and the two halves will regenerate and you’ll get two new starfish! :)
Found this via Cup of Jo. Great pictures! I have never held a starfish, but I have held a live sand dollar. They have tickly little bits on their underneaths too and it excreted yellow stuff all over my hand. >_<
