a curious fact – did you know that here, in turks and caicos, the license plates belong to the owners and not to the cars? so once you get your first plate, you will keep it every time you change car.
there are also different plates for commercial cars, taxis and private cars – but the nicest ones are the private car plates. these will have a lobster, a flamingo, a cactus and a conch shell – have you seen a more creative plate?
look here for other world license plates.

oh my…i was so surprised when i saw portuguese brand, claus porto, for sale at the regent palm‘s spa.
i love their art deco style, they are huge and smell amazing – made me feel so proud, and a little home sick too.
i would love to share some pictures james took of a beautiful ray whilst diving.
…to think that one of my favourite dishes is ray with capers – although we have yet not found a restaurant that serves ray in provo.
we oftenly see rays swimming very close to shore, and although i prefer not to be too close to them, i find it funny that whenever there are locals in the water and they see one, they will quickly starts shouting fish, fish in the water and everyone will get out until the ray is gone.
