we sometimes day dream of buying a boat…
during my childhood my favourite weekend plan was to go on my grandparents’ boat in portugal, i loved the picnics, sailing and the amazing secluded beaches we went to.
here in provo there are loads of cays and deserted beaches that we would love to explore by boat. and as we have a canal just next to home, we could park it right here – can it get any easier?
so what do you think…to boat or not to boat?
the weather was not that great last weekend, but there is something relaxing about being at the beach and getting in the water, it kind of clears your head.
so we headed to our favourite beach spot, its close to home, easy access and never busy. i specially like going on sundays, when the locals go and the kids play non stop.
oh yes i did it. after dropping off james at work, i made a quick stop by fresh bakery to grab a cream cheese pretzel for my morning treat. this and a cup of coffee – the perfect combo for a rainy morning!
i can’t believe its already friday, october, halloween soon, and countdown to christmas…
we had grace bay club’s staff party at horse eye jack’s on tuesday, and the hotel reopened on thursday. businesses are back on track in provo, as most were closed during september.
the weather is on and off, but we’re still hoping to do some snorkeling and sunbathing!

i love it that there are so many bougainvilleas all over provo, they are so colourful and remind me of my grandparents house in lisbon. i like using them to give a little colour at home too!
