This is one my fav dive sites at West Caicos. The Gully it is called. the water is amazingly warm at 27c and you have to pinch yourself to make sure that the clarity of the water is REAL! My first dive in Turks & Caicos was here back in January 2011. It is on an amazing white sandy bed slowly sloping down into the Wall otherwise known as the reef drop off which goes into the deep sea…. this shark had been circling around us and when he got onto the white sandy part, i knew i had to film it.

every weekend i get excited with the next blogshop monday guest post to come – if you have missed them, see this weeks one & all the previous ones – and watch out for a couple more to come.
but that’s not all folks, i am uber happy to tell you that james will start contributing to myseastory – i have posted so many of his diving pictures, it is only fair that he shares them himself, not only the pictures, but a little more about his diving experiences here in provo.
isn’t today the coolest date? have an awesome weekend!
turks and caicos beaches // emerald point
when we first arrived to provo, james and i explored every possible beach spot, grace bay beach, the bight, coral gardens, leeward beach, malcolm beach, sapodilla bay, taylor bay, long bay, and so on. but then we settled down and found our own routine chosing the bight as a favourite to go.
but a couple of weeks ago our friends suggested going to emerald point, so we got out of the box and joined them and the dogs. it was an awesome day, and i tell you there is no bad beach in provo! you just can’t get it wrong.
and it was fun having jack and luna jumping and running in and out of the water – it made me dogsick (as in homesick…in case you didn’t get that one).
blogshop mondays / weddding inspiration
A few short years ago I headed to Turks and Caicos for a girls weekend and left the island having met my future husband. We spent time commuting from Chicago to NYC and just this past February tied the knot once again in the Caribbean. I found it only fitting to feature my blog post as a little wedding inspiration from the beautiful island you call home.
This photo and the beautiful color palette just makes me want to jump a plane tomorrow and spend some time in T & C!

happy weekend & more
it’s the first week of november, which means booking flights for christmas – this gets me excited.
but before that, we are thrilled to have the culinary extravaganza this weekend, and the tcspca bbq next week. oh, and i am looking forward to tennis – i finally started tennis lessons with a nice group of gals.
did you see this week’s blogshop mondays guest post? i am loving them all, and there are still a few more to come.
i took this picture of james a couple of weeks ago at the bight – i know i will miss this someday!
