with an improptu mid week break to miami, and my mum’s visit on island, november went by too fast, in a good way. the christmas festivities are right on, and this time around we’re feeling it more than ever (last time we spent christmas on island was in 2012), there are loads of kids activities, and although julia is not really aware, she sure enjoys being out and about.

this blog has had its ups and downs, to say the least, but if there is one social media channel i’ve never given up on, is my instagram account – it’s easy, fast, feedback is immediate and it challenges me for more and better inspiration. need-less to say, instagram is here to stay.
my friend annie is an awesome baker, the first time i met her she was making a gorgeous barbie cake for a 3 year old, but the best part was the cake tasted like heaven.
i’ve been living in turks and caicos for almost 4 year (scary) and honestly, i don’t know why it took me so long to try out the spa at the regent palms. i guess, deep inside, i like having things on my bucket list, and dislike the feeling of having done it all. i had visited the spa, and seen some amazing wedding settings, but last week i finally treated myself to a spa treatment. a few moments after having booked, i received a confirmation email, which i found both professional and helpful, since i tend to forget the exact time of my appointments.
