we have a holiday today in the TCI – to celebrate the slavery abolition act 1833 that ended slavery in the british empire on august 1, 1834 – this day is widely observed in the british west indies during the first week of august.
so we got to relax by the beach, sunbathe and spend hours in the water…bliss!
finally… we had our stuff delivered!!
i can’t wait to open part of my life – locked in boxes for the last six months!
yes, you read it right. i have yet to find the reason why here in provo stores do not sell alcohol on sundays.
it is what it is, so just make sure you are not counting on it and stock up your wine rack beforehand!
