revelator coffee has been one of my favorite discoveries in new orleans. originally from birmingham, alabama, they recently opened a coffee shop in the central business district. i somehow found about it through instagram, and since it’s conveniently located close to the louisiana children’s museum, i make it a point to treat myself to the best coffee in the city, before bringing julia for playtime.
i love their aesthetic, their snacks from gracious bakery and their no frills coffee menu. julia loves to get a small to go cup with creamy milk, it’s such a nice detail that they do this for her, and it makes her feel included in the coffee plan too. i ain’t no coffee expert, but to me, this is the best coffee in the city – go see for yourself.

she’s always had some
julia at 23 months – this girl has endless energy, and when the sun is out, we have to leave the house – jumping, running and singing always get her in good moods ♡
december went by too fast, actually the whole year did, time seems to fly when you’re a mum!! we finally got our boxes from turks & caicos, but these arrived a few days before flying to lisbon for our christmas vacation, so i just let them be…real proof that we don’t actually need as much stuff as we think we do.
julia at 23 months – after the holidays everyone goes back to their routines, so we’ve been taking advantage and going on more mummy-daughter dates – playgrounds are still a favorite over here (and luckily there are plenty of fun ones in lisbon), but dying to have a sunny day for a little winter beach adventure ♡
