isuzu
our new best friend!
i never thought we would have an isuzu, don’t think i had ever heard of it…
coming from lisbon, i’ve always wanted small cars, easy to park and easy on traffic. but here in providenciales, traffic and parking is never a problem. there is no public transportation, and taxis are tourist-priced, so you can barely do without a car.
our isuzu is great for driving on dirt roads and on the beach…even better!
lately
we’ve been having these amazing sunsets.
diving
james looooooves diving, and even more here in Turks and Caicos, as the temperature is perfect and the water is so clean and clear.
he likes going with provo turtle divers, they are at turtle cove marina and have a really friendly team.

gansevoort / providenciales
last night, after moving all our stuff to our new apartment, we were craving a cold shower and a nice dinner out. our favourite place, caicos cafe, is closed on mondays, so we ended up going to bagatelle, at the gansevoort hotel.
the atmosphere is really nice, it has a different feel from other hotels in the island and the lounge background music is just perfect.
i had a delicious risotto and J had the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce…we made the right choice.
i’m sure we will be back to try heir hamburger at the beach lounge!
