although turks & caicos doesn’t have a lot of agriculture, there are plenty of coconut trees throughout provo (you can also buy coconuts at island pride).
i love drinking the fresh coconut water and then snacking on the fruit inside…yum, the perks of living in the caribbean!

once every few weeks Deborah, Ingrid and I would meet up for a day of a lot of eating, talking and laughing – i just don’t know what i would do without them.
we started by a nice work out, had a well deserved lunch at mango reef, followed by some shopping at rumeurs. we finished of our girls day out with coffee and our favourite cookies at green bean!
as part of the world environmental day, the tci environmental club organised a campaign to ban single use plastic bags in the TCI – by distributing over a thousand reusable shopping bags in providenciales (rememeber my shop with thought post?).

did you know that Maui, Hawaii has banned all plastic bags from coming on to their island as of January 11th, 2011 – wow!
provo is so easy going and casual, i wear nothing but flip flops on my feet. i love it. i do have to keep them pretty though.
