julia at age 1 –  when we wake up every morning at 6.30, we have our little morning routine, james takes julia out to the garden and the beach, she points out to everything and waves hi to everyone she sees. but the best part (other than having 5min for myself!) is the look on her face when she comes back home with a flower in her hand for me! this has become my favorite time of the day ♡

julia-0652julia at age 1 –  feeding julia has always required a lot of patience and good moods, but now i’m having a hard time giving her vegetables, so we’re trying a different approach…a fruit smoothie with disguised vegetables, and she loves it! (this one had frozen mango, frozen raspberries, avocado and spinach) ♡

in february we celebrated julia’s birthday, and got back on track on island life. the weather has been strangely chilly for turks and caicos, which is nice for a change, and allowed for long walks and cozy nights in watching movies.
