california has these things, you grab the best cup of coffee, drive through the most gorgeous national park (muir woods) and you get to the beautiful surfing town (bolinas). the beach, though cold, does wonders to both of us – we picked up pebbles, played in the sand and wondered if there were octopus in the water ♡

picking her up from school, she’s always happy to arrive and never happy to leave (which is both cute and annoying) definitely two of the highlights of my day ♡

little did i know there are all sorts of pumpkin patches, small ones in the neighborhood, at the local market, or huge ones in farms close by, some even have bouncing castles… this is our first time, which means no expectations, a no frills pumpkin patch will do just fine – we took a few pictures and bought a pumpkin (or three). next year we’ll try a little harder and go a longer way ♡

and that’s a wrap! we just got back from 2 amazing months spent in my hometown, lisbon – it was a quiet summer with a lot of family time, plenty of pool time and beach days galore (and ice cream dates, of course). we still made it to zurich for a long weekend in the city, and a week spent at the coolest beach house, just south of lisbon.
now we’re back in berkeley, settling down, adjusting (to the weather!!) and tunning in, to a new routine. follow me here for more daily posts :)
