julia’s new three year old obsessions – requests pasta with pesto for dinner every other night, will not take off her dragon girl cape (surprisingly not on when i took this picture), and rides her tricycle like a pro ♡

last week, when it was sunny and we ventured to san francisco for a semi chinese new year celebration in a new food truck park ♡

we had a little birthday bash for julia’s 3rd – it was a first for me, kids birthday party planning, and to be honest, it’s not my thing, what do parents expect, what do kids expect, without overdoing it. luckily, she had no expectations, we had a good turn out and that’s what made her feel so special, her friends.
we chose a sea life theme-ish, as an ode to our turks and caicos days, we inflated a few floaters, perfect for decor and lots of play – sharks, dolphins and octopus. we set up an activity table with cutouts, pens and stamps. we ordered pizza and chocolate donut holes. and to top it off, i made a chocolate cake that looked pretty lousy but was covered in m&m’s, making her jump with joy – truly believing it was the best cake ever (i jumped with joy too!). ♡

this is how we roll every morning – after the hush hush to leave the house, and given that there is no rain, we have 20 minutes of pure bliss – with baby and throw over her lap, we walk to school. we check out the birds and squirrels, we smell the flowers or admire the succulents, sometimes we talk, so many times we have the comfort of silent. i cherish every minute of it, and i’m sure, so does she ♡
